In the town we also see ourselves very much as a hub of the local community and we are very keen that our hall facilities and office are used as often and as widely as possible. We encourage the provision of opportunity for social interaction between members of all ages.

In addition to West Angus Area Ministry events in 2005 we wrote, scored and produced a musical that involved around 100 people.  We also encourage coffee services and would highlight the local congregation at Memus Church where, although there is no water on site, there is always coffee and home baking after services.

We are fortunate that we can always find willing office bearers and other helpers and we seek to keep up to date through monthly Presbytery Reports; topical preaching; Assembly Courier diary; and Life and Work.  There is also an audio summary of General Assembly on our web site
