Annual General Meeting

- 1. Welcome
Malcolm welcomed everyone to the first AGM of Kirriemuir Fairtrade Forum.
- 2. Review of 2013
Positives – representatives from St. Mary’s Church, the Glens & Kirriemuir Old and Strathmore Fellowship as well asWebstersHigh School, Northmuir Primary and Angus Council.
We have had a presence at twelve events over the last year and the Traidcraft sales in 2013 were £2681.55.
At Webster’s High School Fairtrade products are used at all school events and during Fairtrade Fortnight there are Bring & Buy Sales, staff Coffee Mornings and many of the lessons are Fairtrade based. There are now two sixth year pupils on the Forum.
The banner has been well used at all the events and in the church office.
The Bake-Off was successful and will be repeated this year but bigger and better.
Anne and Claire regularly attend theAngusZonemeetings.
Angus Fairtrade Zone have had their status renewed for another two years.
Negatives – still no representation fromSt Andrews or St Anthony’s
- 3. Finance
There was a balance of £36.69 at the end of 2013.
A bank account will be opened soon.
- 4. Officebearers
The present committee were reappointed for another year.
It was agreed that the Chairman should be appointed for two years then step down – Malcolm will be in post for one more year.
